UTU

Time-clock kiosk on a tablet in French Polynesia

The UTU time-clock kiosk turns a tablet into the clock-in and clock-out point for teams in French Polynesia. Each employee clocks in with a personal PIN, and hours feed the schedule and then payroll in CFP francs. UTU is published in Tahiti by Devlab.

On-site installation

  • A manager pairs the tablet with the company file, for a temporary or permanent installation.
  • Logo, photo and welcome message are set per site.
  • Kiosk access can be revoked remotely.

Day to day

Each person identifies with a personal PIN and gets a clear confirmation with their next shift. A missed clock-out becomes a correction request for the manager, instead of an invented time.

From clock-ins to payroll

Clock-ins feed weekly hours and overtime premiums for day, night, Sunday and public holiday work, through to the payslip. Checks before closing verify the result.

Frequently asked questions

Can the kiosk stay installed at our workplace?

Yes. A manager pairs the tablet with the company and chooses a temporary or permanent installation. Each site can have its own logo, photo and message. People identify themselves with a PIN, and the manager can revoke kiosk access remotely.

What happens if an employee forgets to clock out?

The missed clock-out becomes a correction request for the manager, who confirms the actual time before payroll.

Do clock-ins feed payroll directly?

Yes: they feed hours and overtime premiums, which are checked before the payroll cycle closes.

How much does UTU cost?

UTU is a subscription from XPF 20,000 per month. The price depends on headcount and number of company files; the detailed rate sheet is shared on request.
